Martin Tod presented over 1,300 signatures to the Department of Health in Whitehall, with Steve Webb MP, Liberal Democrat Health Spokesman.
North West Hampshire Liberal Democrat campaigner, Martin Tod, has presented a petition opposed to local cuts signed by more than 1,300 people from the Andover area to the Department of Health in Whitehall.
Mr Tod presented the petition with the Liberal Democrat Health Spokesman, Steve Webb MP.
Mr Tod commented "We want the Government to provide the money necessary to prevent any staff cuts to front line health and hospital services in the Andover and Mid-Hampshire area. Local health services need more investment, not less. This is particularly true given that Andover is planned to grow significantly, not shrink. The financial problems in the local NHS also don't match up with what we've been hearing from the Government about extra funding."
